EAONO 2024

EAONO 2024 was successfully organized by Prof. Myrthe Hol, University Medical Center Groningen; Dr. Jef Mulder, Radboud University Medical Center, Nijmegen and Congress Care, an IAPCO-certified Professional Conference Organizer (PCO). It took place from September 4 to 7 in the historic city of Nijmegen, the oldest city in the Netherlands. With its strategic location near the German border and vibrant student population, Nijmegen offers the perfect backdrop for this international conference.

EAONO 2024

The conference hosted nearly 400 participants worldwide, with 200 abstracts, e-posters, poster pitches, oral presentations, and an exposition. The venue, De Vereeniging, is a beautiful concert hall built in the early 20th century, combining Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles. Congress Care, acting as the PCO for this event, is overseeing every logistical aspect, from financial planning and registration to marketing, promotion, and on-site management. The PCO ensures the seamless coordination of activities, allowing attendees to focus on the enriching scientific program.

From EPR to Improving Results

This edition’s theme, “From EPR to Improving Results,” emphasizes the importance of Electronic Patient Records (EPRs) in enhancing healthcare outcomes. By extracting valuable data from EPRs, healthcare professionals can compare results, improve care quality, reduce costs, and boost efficiency. Expert roundtable discussions will address how to optimize data extraction for a variety of pathologies, ensuring the meeting stays at the cutting edge of medical advancements. Congress Care, as the PCO, ensures that all arrangements support these expert discussions.

Mobile app

A specially designed mobile app will give participants easy access to the scientific program and posters while offering a way to connect with other attendees. Congress Care managed the app and all other logistical elements efficiently. This level of attention to detail ensures that EAONO 2024 will be a smooth and memorable experience for everyone involved.
