Rotterdam wins the bid to host ISDH 2030!
We are thrilled to announce that we will organize the prestigious International Symposium on Dental Hygiene (ISDH) in July 2030. This conference, renowned in the dental hygiene community, will convene professionals from around the globe to share the latest advancements and innovations in oral health care. The ISDH is a biannual conference, with its next editions scheduled for Milan in 2026 and Dubai in 2028. After an intense bidding process, the International Federation of Dental Hygienists (IFDH) has selected Rotterdam as the host city for ISDH 2030!
The winning bid: a collaborative effort
The successful bid to host ISDH 2030 in Rotterdam was a concerted effort involving several key stakeholders. Rotterdam Partners, Maaike Hamann, NVM Mondhygienisten, and the venues De Doelen and Rotterdam Ahoy played essential roles in creating the winning proposal. Their combined expertise and enthusiasm for promoting Rotterdam as a major conference destination were crucial.
The bid process
Bidding to host an international conference of this size involves a rigorous process to convince the organizing association to select a particular country and venue. The local association, NVM Mondhygienisten, initiated this process by contacting Rotterdam Partners, expressing a strong preference for Rotterdam as the host city. Rotterdam Partners suggested a couple of PCOs to present themselves to NVM, showcasing their abilities and expertise. Congress Care is very pleased that NVM has chosen us!
