About Jeannette Slenders
Meet Jeanette
As a project assistant, Jeannette is responsible for the administrative and practical support of conferences. She handles various tasks related to (among others) registration and abstract submissions, promotional activities, as well as both the practical preparation before and the administrative processing after conferences (accreditation, attendance certificates, etc.). On the days of the conference, she is present on location to coordinate the reception of participants and speakers, being the first point of contact for inquiries, reachable via the registration desk.
Working at Congress Care
After completing my Facility Management degree, I held various positions in the facility management field. Since 2015, I have been working at Congress Care. For me, this is the perfect combination of project-based work, catering to different target groups (both nationally and internationally), and in diverse locations. A good preparation is essential for a successful event, so I consider it important to prepare everything down to the smallest detail. It is always very satisfying when all attendees leave enthusiastically after the event. We work in a small and close-knit team, so everyone is well informed about what's going on, and we truly work together!
What else does Jeanette do?
In addition to my work, I am a board member of a patient association and involved as a volunteer with a foundation that supports underprivileged children in Venezuela. In the time that remains, I am locally active in neighborhood watch, I regularly walk and cycle, I enjoy reading a good book, and I love spending time with family and friends.
