The EBA Educational Course is scheduled in the even years between the bi-annual EBA congresses to meet the request from the EBA members for practical education & guidelines that can be implemented in daily practice the next day. We expect around 300 delegates ( (plastic)surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurse specialists and other burn team members from all over Europe and beyond.
The EBA Educational Course will be held in De Doelen, Rotterdam, the Netherlands, a very unique congress centre. We are working at making your participation all together scientifically rewarding, comfortable, enjoyable and beneficial, favouring further contacts with your colleagues.
The scientific programme will be totally plenary (no parallel sessions) including a few sponsored sessions of very high quality. Topics to be covered: burns at the extremes of age, acute care and resuscitation, infection and sepsis, skin substitutes; present and future, psychological aspects. There will be ample time for discussion and poster presentations.

The format of the meeting includes; invited lecturers, panel discussions and poster presentations. A significant time of the 2 days meeting will be dedicated to open discussions.
